Decent gloves for the budget
DEUS VULT ✓ Verified Purchase•October 2, 2023
I've been wearing these gloves for the last few months at patrol gloves with my security job. While they are comfortable, there are some slight issues.
Main problem being that the rubber oversold stiches in seems to squeeze the gloves down when the heat sets from outside Weather. The finger tips are always an issue regardless of the gloves, and this one had a hole in the index fingerjust today while I was working the AR trigger.
Looking at the fingers now the leather feels like it's starting to wear out just from a few cases of moving range boxes and checking purses with the security job.
Could just be the set I got though.

Great gloves for work or range

I've had these gloves for a few months now and they have held up very well. I have previously purchased the Mechanix gloves that are similar, the finger tips on those started to split within a few weeks of use. I use these at the range and at work (construction) and they have been great.
On the job site they are comfortable to wear for long periods, and they are grippy enough that you don't have to overexert your hand to maintain grip on a tool. The rubber knuckle pads help when a wrench slips and you accidentally punch the floor. My hands did not get hot while wearing them, which is a common thing for me. They were also pretty warm when I shoveled snow in them last week.
On the range they are just as good. I am a lefty so operating most firearms requires some work around. For instance I have to use my left index finger instead of my right thumb to operate slide releases and safeties on pistols. These gloves fit well and had enough grip on their surface that I had no problems. They can be a little tricky getting into the trigger guard of a 1911, but that is more on the firearm side than an issue with the gloves.
+5 Stars for a product that was more functional, comfortable, and resilient that I had suspected. Price is decent and shipping was smooth
Update: I spent President's Day weekend snowboarding and wore these gloves the entire time. The temp was around 32-36 all weekend, and I was totally comfortable in them. I have much more dexterity with them versus thick winter gloves, which makes it easier to work binding, adjust earbud cords, take on and off goggles, etc.
Update 8/28/2019: Going on 2 years with these gloves, still holding strong. Some splits have begun to form in the finger tips on my middle finger, otherwise they are still perfect. I use them regularly doing maintenance work, they are great.

I bought 2 pair of Ironclad. The first pair unboxed was Exo Modern Leather. They were excellent! Everything I expected and more.
Updated after a year: Replacement pair has been excellent. They are used in tactical applications in conjunction with US military operations. They are my go to shooting and driving glove.
Then I unwrapped these... I knew there was trouble when the bag was open and the gloves weren't attached together like the previous pair. Sure enough the gloves were stretched out, creased in the finger, and had obvious signs of wear. Worst of all they stunk! The stench was so bad my spouse caught a whiff in the next room.
Needless to say they are being returned. I hope the next pair is new so I can give an objective opinion based on performance instead of this current mess caused by the shipper.
