The table was easy to put together (except for the wheels did not go in easily). Upon putting the cart upright I began to remove the protective cover - it didn't cover 100% of the table but most of it. Unfortunately, there was a decent scratch in the protective covering and through it onto the table. I did not use anything sharp on or near this piece when unboxing the item.

I arrived all scratched up on the top. The cover that was on top of the table was not scratched, how can the table be so scratched up when the cover is not. Poor quality control. Not worth the money for being so scratch up, the casters did not fit the legs. Do not purchase, over priced for the damage and wheels not fitting

I am using this unit to hold a glass fusing kiln that I need to be able to roll away from the (combustible) wall in my art studio when in use. My kiln is primarily made of light weight fiber, so it is not very heavy (maybe 40 pounds), but it's base is 2' x 2' and it must stay level, so I needed a large, stable, non-combustible surface for it to sit on. This table fits the bill! It was packaged amazingly well. The box is HEAVY, so, if you are like me, plan to have someone help you move it or do as I did and empty the box's components one by one from where it is delivered. It was easy to assemble. The gauge of the steel is reasonably thick (probably 14 gauge?), and although it did have a couple of tiny dimples in the top surface (that clearly happened during its manufacture as the box and packaging were in perfect shape), they are really insignificant and my kiln covers them anyway. I only mention them for those people who are expecting to purchase a $300 table and get a perfect mirrored surface or a showcase table for their gourmet kitchen. This is a very good, medium-duty working table that will happily hold fairly large and modestly heavy items, and allow you to roll them around the room with ease. I would buy it in a second as a surface to operate any household kitchen appliance, including an oven, mixer, or meat grinder. Do not expect to pound items on it with a hammer, nor will every inch of its surface or corners be polished to perfection. Assembled, the top surface is at counter-height, surfaces are smooth, and it rolls perfectly. Love it!

This is the best purchase I ever made. Not to hard to put together, but make sure you got room. I did it alone with few problems. The table is strong and very sturdy. It is heavy in the package. The big wheels are great. Easy to move around. I bought the extra shelf for underneath and that was working out great. Best purchase ever. Some folks have wheels problems but so far I've had none. IMPORTANT: YOU NEED TO BUY OR HAVE A 19MM RACHET WRENCH TO SECURE THE 4 WHEELS (SLIM DESIGN). MAKE SURE YOU GET A RACKET WRENCH WILL MAKE IT EASIER TO TIGHTEN. Make sure the wheel brakes don't engage while you tighten. If they do, just tap the brake release gently with a small hammer. Good luck.
