Having switched from a Herschel Little America, it took some downsizing in my EDC (25L to 13L, I pack my workout gear separately now), but it fits my work laptop, cords, notebooks, and anything else I need just fine. I carry my water bottle and lunch separately, but since I drive to/from work this isn't much of a problem.
