An Awesome Golf Cooler That Fits In The Basket
Shane Curtis Beise✓ Verified PurchaseMay 5, 2024
Ok, so first off the cooler. It's great and I love it as my new golfing cooler that is completely accessible and fits in the golf basket with a little room to spare. I like that it's plastic bucket insert is easy to clean and gives another wall of cooling. Yes, you can take the bucket out and have a soft bag if you really want to stuff it, but at least you have the option. I like that it's got some extra storage in the front pocket, and in the side mesh pockets. We put our koozies in the side mesh pockets.

The best part of this cooler, where it stands out from other coolers this size, is the lid and latching system. It is amazing and gotta love the easy access from the front seat of the car or golf cart reaching back. It is way more secure than I first thought as well. I think it would hold if tipped over as long as it was latched with the Velcro strap; we don't strap it half the time though. When you push down on the lid it does snap into place, even before strapping it closed, so that gives some peace of mind that it's shut.

Other than that, this is really versatile and great for the money and size. Speaking of size, I'm a little bit of an over-thinker and I was looking for ice packs for this after I got it, and I think 1 good rectangular ice pack is all you need for a full day of fun; I take this on the course with 1 ice pack and it's still cold in the back of my Jeep the next morning. So anyways, I put together all the inside dimensions of this as well as some can scenarios and how they fit in the cooler. I hope the info below helps somebody out, and also hope this review doesn't run out of characters"¦lol. Buy and enjoy people! Here ya go:

Thought it was gonna be too big.

Thought it was gonna be too bulky and annoying to carry from my truck to my work area. Even when it arrived and I saw it in person I had my doubts. However it's very light and it hangs on my side, slightly more towards my back side but not enough to keep bouncing off my legs/butt which is nice.

No issues, keeps my stuff pretty cold all day in the FL summer sun and I'm just using 3 basic ice packs I've had since I was in elementary school back in the 90s. If you want something small that only holds like 1 ice pack and your lunch then get something else. This lunchbox is able to fit a pretty large lunch, 2 soda cans, 3 ice packs, my large shaker bottle, and still has a lil bit more room left.
Great Cooler but Not Secure

The cooler is large enough for my needs with several side pockets; keeps the contents within cool for a at least 6 hours. The main reason I chose this cooler over others on amazon was the plastic insert. The ease of removing it to clean is a big plus. The downside I've found is the top does not stay secure. I've used it several times so far and have had the top pop open a few times, resulting in spills or leaks. The velcro fastener is not as strong as I would've hoped for. One of these times the cooler was stationary and the top randomly loosened, letting out the cool air.
Very nice quality 16-can cooler.

I bought this for day trips in my truck and, primarily, use on my ATV. It is a very handy size and will retain ice overnight, so good insulation properties for this type of cooler. I really like the removable shelf in the top that allows one to carry sandwiches and other items without them getting into the ice and melt water in the bottom of the cooler. Also, it is small enough that items do not get beat around in it like they do with a larger hard side ice chest mounted on an ATV used hard on rough trails. No split soda cans or lids popped off of water-tight containers. Just right for one or two people on a day trip.
Love this one.

For the record, I am reviewing: Lifewit Large Lunch Bag 24-Can (15L) Insulated Lunch Box Soft Cooler Cooling Tote for Adult Men Women, Grey

The reason I got this one was because I wanted one that was large enough to fit several ice packs and a full size lunch into it. I pack two ice packs on the bottom with a homemade frozen entree on the bottom, then a 24 ounce bottle half filled water that is frozen on an angle. Then I pack a bag of fresh cut veggies, with a 3 oz container of dip, a bag with fresh cut fruit, a bag of nuts, a can of diet soda, and one protein drink then a small bag of berries and two more ice packs and it has room for more.

There are days when my husband does not have time to eat everything so he brings stuff home and it is still just as cold as if it were in the refrigerator. I used to put a full bottle of water inside the bag but once the bottle cap came off and flooded the bag, all the water stayed inside the bag and did not leak out, it was as simple as dumping the water out and then drying it with a towel, and it was all good. I now put a couple of paper towels lining the bottom due to the ice pack condensation and it helps to keep the inside clean. The pouches on the outside are large enough to hold his phone, wallet, and extra keys, plus any papers that he needs to take with him. He loves this one, it is just the right size for our needs and I would say that it probably would be perfect for any 8-hour road trip too. We have not had any problems so far, no defects, no bad seams, no zipper problems, so yes I would recommend this one as we have been using it for about 8 months now at least five days a week.
