Skeptical Optimism
Mama Llama•July 8, 2018
I'm familiar with how resilient this plant is. I hope it recover from the condition I received it. Leaves we're smashed, some beyond saving. Stems are damaged, one completely broke off. Time will tell if the others will grow. There are almost no roots. My guess it is a VERY new transplant. Way too much money for a plant that is not established at all. Signs of insect activity is also a concern. If saw this plant in a store, I would not buy it. As I said, I know these plants to be resilient so I hope it will recover and thrive.
Beautiful, healthy plant

Beautiful, healthy plant, but arrived stuffed into a small box. Many stems were dead or damaged. Took over a week to receive it. On the plus side, I was able to trim some stems and revive them in water to replant them
Beautiful plant

I received my plant yesterday and I couldn't be happier. This is the first time I ordered a plant online and was a bit skeptical. The plant looked like you'd expect a plant to look after being shipped in a box, with no sun, and wrapped in breathable plastic. Once i got it out of the box and spread it out, it looked very good and bigger than I expected. I took some pictures of it yesterday - I will post them later today. I'm happy with this purchase.
Nice Color Pop with this plant.

This arrived quickly and the plant was carefully wrapped and packaged. a few negligible dead leaves but otherwise the plant arrived in beautiful, healthy condition.
Plant on death row when it arrived

This poor plant! All of the leaves have holes and rot on them. came with the stems rotted off at the soil and wilted. I had to remove it from its soil and start the plant in water to hopefully revive the poor thing. I cannot believe a "nursery" would have plants like this. This wasnt a shipping issue, this plant has been in rough shape for a while. A little wilting in shipping is to be expected, not half eaten leaves and rotted off at the soil.
I certainly hope that with some TLC i will get some new roots and can start this plant off on the right foot...
