Had to use 2x4 blocks to reinforce the tree inside the stand so it wouldn't fall over.

It is a nice tree stand for the money, but didn't work with my tree. I had a 6 foot tree with a base of about 3 inches. The problem is that the screws all the way in leaves a gap of just under 4 inches. Will work great with bigger tree bases but smaller ones it won't.
