Excellent sprayer

I have used this a few times and find it of excellent quality and worth the extra money. I am hoping it will be a useful replacement for the $10 throw a ways that I have been using. The brass nozzle and wand are excellent and spray adjustment works as it should. Base is quite stable and wand holder actually works although not while you are trying to pump the tank up. As a senior citizen I find the 2 gallons is all I want to carry around.

First of all, this is a very high quality sprayer. I've owned many but never one this good. Everything about it is quality including the wand and the thick plastic spray tank. I needed a high quality sprayer for the project I had in mind; to take a great sprayer and make it better. Anyhow, I drilled a hole in the side of my brand new sprayer and installed a valve stem. Instead of pumping the tank, I now use my air compressor to add approximately 40lbs of pressure. This sprayer is built like a tank and there are no leaks or bulges under this amount of pressure. My reach with the brass nozzle is over 30 feet and it easily reaches under the eves of a two-story home. I can spray half a tank before needing to add more air. I'm very happy with my new (slightly modified) sprayer.
Very fine pump

Excellent pump. After years of frustration with other brands, we purchased this pump, and several months later, we sought out a one-gallon Smith pump. We have been very pleased with both. It only takes a few pumps to get them to usable pressure, which they hold very well. The spray end is easily adjusted, and there have been no issues with leakage.
Great sprayer and if taken care of will last many years.

This is a very good sprayer. Unless you are going to shell out more than twice as much for a B&G the Smith sprayers are the way to go. For indoor use I like the 2 gallon model, for outdoor parameter use I use the 3 gallon. I recommend thoroughly rinsing it out when you are done and running a good amount of clear water through it before you put it away - some of the chemicals can be quite harsh and rinsing it out will help it last longer.

I really wanted a metal sprayer, but this is heavy duty and the spraying system is high quality. As it turns out, this sprayer is much better than any of the others. Like all pump sprayers, you really have to clean them after each use or they will plug up. Clean up is a pain, it will always work if they're clean. I recommend this sprayer.
