Not Suitable for Quilters

Not only did this product have a very strong toxic odor, it also created a mess on my quilt project. I have used many types of adhesives worked beautifully, but this is by far the worst for glue basting a quilt. It does not come off easily if excess is applied (which happens w/ the spray nozzle, no matter how delicately applied). This adhesive may be fine for some textile projects, but I would NOT recommend this product to quilters.
Will order this again

I used this product to mount fabric on the back of an Ikea Billy Bookcase. It comes out in a very nice fine spray, so you can layer it as much as you want to get the amount of adhesive you want. The fabric i mounted was a light-weight woven upholstery fabric with light backing on it; I sprayed both the fabric and the back of the bookcase to get a nice adherence and I didn't notice any bleed-through of the spray onto the face of the fabric or any discoloration. if you are using a thin printed fabric i would try a small sample first and let it dry. A couple of times i had to re-position the fabric and did so immediately; it easily pulled up and laid back down and stuck. I sprayed outside - even though the spray is direct i don't think there is any way you can do this indoors and contain the mist from getting on other items. Also, when i sprayed a large piece of fabric, i did a section at a time, exposing the face of the fabric, and realized the mist was lightly coating it, so i covered it with newspaper to prevent it from getting tacky. there was a slight smell from the glue that lingered afterwards, but i left it outside and i don't smell anything a day later.
