My first uke.

Im giving this uke 4 stars because its my first uke and I have nothing to compare it too. I play guitar. It came two weeks earlier than expected. Beautiful! Quickly tuned it with on board tuner and it plays beautifully. I bought batteries but the batteries were already installed. Uses same flat batteries (2) as my Snark tuner. Opening the battery compartment made me nervous because its delicate and and i thought it would break. Had to be cautious here. Wood seems to be a little thin but what do i know? Never had a uke. Taking it tomorrow to Guitar Center Tech to get strap buttons installed and buy a strap. Oh and I plugged it into my Roland Cube portable amp. Sounded awesome and warm. First day was a beautiful experience but time will tell. Very excited. It was also well packed and placed in the gig bag i ordered.
It has a big voice

My local Luther, said the neck was slightly twisted so he set it up the best he could, it plays very well, and sounds great with a big voice, easy to finger and strum.

I love this uke. I play it every day. I restrung it with Aquila Lava strings, not because the original strings were bad, but I wanted to re-tune the instrument to traditional GCEA ukulele tuning. I use it for finger picking. This is my second Caramel baritone ukulele and they are both great. It is a beautiful instrument. The rosewood is gorgeous.

Bad hole design cause structural weakness

Because of none standard design, 2 hole were cut too close and the thin veneer between 2 hole arrived wuth top veneer broken and remaining layer split due to very narrow less than 1/8 inch wood.
Didn't return due to hassle to ship back to China. Plays and sounds okay but bad cosmetic due to veneer break.
