Could be easier to open

when you are in a hurry to open a cabinet forget about it not for you. You have to use a tool to disengage the lock. You have to remember the side you installed and w one hand approach and the other open. Talking about installation ... for me was a pain in the button. the little attachment they give you was not holding the piece so i could not get on the spot it should be glued on.

installed these for my cat that would just like to paw at the cabinet wide enough for it to make an annoying sound as it shut. over and over again, it was like she was playing the drums at 2 in the morning. so i needed these to be able to go on the bottom of the cabinet rather than the top near the handle.
these locks can be applied upside down and sideways, in addition to their proper upright position that the instructions show you to install them as. they stay locked as well, no matter how aggressive my cat is at pawing at cabinet doors now.
my only beware is: the adhesive is EXTREMELY STRONG. these arent exactly "renter friendly" in that if you dont immediately pull them off to move them during installation, they will pull paint or wood frames apart (i made minor movements when i first stuck them to the cabinet frames. but i tried to move a magnet set again a day later and it was practically superglued into its place). i dont know if theres a special way to take 3M adhesive foam pads off once they're adhered. thankfully these are on the inside of the cabinets so some chunks of paint missing aren't super worrisome for me.
