These are beautiful, high quality glasses. I purchased them intending to take them out of the box to put in a gift basket but after seeing how beautiful the box is I'm actually leaving them in and just using a bigger basket. The glasses themselves are a classic crystal, large wine glass and they feel and look very high quality.

I have a bunch of Ikea $1 white wine glasses and they can't compare with these. The shape of these are just gorgeous! I used them for my wedding anniversary.
This wine glass did a excellent just on showcasing the wine and enhancing the aroma of the wine. The shape is super elegant and, even though it says it's a short stem, it has a good size, elegant stem. Not tall enough to be knocked over by accident and not short enough that it is uncomfortable to hold. The weight is pretty light. It's not the lightest glass I have ever used, but it is pretty light compare to most of the glasses I used. The glass feels pretty sturdy and there is not a huge chunk of glass sitting on the bottom of the glass and the end of the stem. The edge of the glass is very thin so it doesn't distract from the wine drinking experience. I washed them in the dishwasher on the highest setting and they survived.

Oh...the love hate relationship of wine glass.... They look high class, but break super easily. My previous 4 all broke as times go by so I am just stocking some more up in the shelf. I like to use it to hold orangle juice in the morning as well, so it makes my breakfast looks slightly more appeticizing. This glass doesn't have the tranditional round shape, which is why I purchase it. Now this glass is VERY LIGHT, not sure if they put the weight at the description (even if they do, i don't know how heavy this actually is). So if you like light glass, then this is for you, because you don't need all the effort to lift it up. But if you like glass that have that fancy "heavy feel", then this might not be for you.

If you are purchasing for the benefits of crystal stemware vs. glass stemware, the price is truly too good to be true. The glasses do indeed look very nice and elegant, as previous reviews have noted, however there are several inconsistencies related to labeling it as "crystal" or "crystal glass" vs. glass. I am definitely no expert, however while these are thin and light enough in weight to constitute as "Crystal Glass" it brings into question the hand-blown vs. machine-made aspect. Therefore, despite the glasses being rather elegant looking, I give 3 stars due to inconsistent labeling and lacking a working number when I tried to contact the manufacturer directly to inquire as to the material. NOTE TO FUTURE BUYERS: Nowhere on the actual box does it state "Crystal Glass" or "Crystal." It is only labeled as "Glass."
