It's very modestly priced. It has that going for it. It's a little less space for papers than I expected from some of the pictures. The little labels are rather small, and are printed on glossy stock that can be hard to write on. It would have been nice if there were a slot on the top flap for a label.

This file folder's material is of typical & acceptable quality for this type of folder and will be great for anyone needing to store a very minimal amount of paper inside, probably 5-7 sheets per divider if you want to be able to close it properly.
I do not care for the folder due to the restrictive & awkward closure. It's my mistake for not paying attention to the closure on this file folder before buying it.
My previous file folders have had the closure reversed (stretch band on top with circle disc/closure on the bottom) with an adequate length of band which makes it easy to stuff the file folder full and still be able to close it. This Amazon Basics folder is not designed like that. I'm posting a pic of my old folder compared to this new one to clarify the difference in the closures. (Both folders are empty in photo)
I recommend you look elsewhere if you need to fill a file folder to full capacity. I see where some reviewers had the ingenuity to add rubber bands to get it to close. While using a rubber band is clever fix, it shouldn't be necessary to do this not to mention it looks like an accident waiting to happen.
I'm giving it two stars for its reasonable price & decent materials but the design of the closure is flawed in my opinion & I don't recommend it.

These are awesome files! They look great and do a great job holding a lot of paper but still being slim. The only thing is if you use all the slots as pockets instead of skipping the first one then you are short one label slot. It's my bad for wanting to use all the slots to fit my many papers and does not effect the quality at all, just wanted to note it. Even still I will be buying more of these folders because they're so great!

The quality of this product is what I expected it to be based on reviews I read before purchase. It is not something I expect to last a long time but it fits my needs at the moment. You definitely would not want to fill this to max capacity if you wanted it to last a while. Good product for the price.

Awesome case. It is as expected. I do wish it was not branded, it says "Amazon Basics" on it, which would be better if it was just blank. Otherwise I like it, expands large but after 4" or so I would say the integrity of it would break down over time. The dividers are nice, the tabs come with it but they are glossy so ink smears on them easy.
