Great until it wasn't
Cheryl F.•January 20, 2018
I bought this one week ago exactly and loved it for the first three or four days I had it - I also purchased a foam mattress, sheets, pillows, and a throw and set it up to have something to lie on and read in my living room....then it started losing air. Yesterday I came downstairs and it was flat...blew it up again and today I came downstairs and it was flat again. My disappointment is extreme. Now I have to take all the stuff off it, deflate it and return it. I am sick of returning things that don't live up to their hype on here Amazon.
It started out great but...

UPDATE 11/27/17:
I did love this air mattress however, after using it several times it now does not hold air. I can't see why it would have gotten a hole or had any reason not to hold air. I've only used the mattress inside. I'm very disappointed.
This bed is really quite comfortable! I got it for my children to use when we were on vacation. The bed holds air well. I did reinflate it some after about three days. The edges are a little higher, which I liked because it prevented my kid from rolling off. The bed is firm when fully inflated. I could sit on the edge and the bed didn't buckle.

Even perfect for "medical needs"
PL Pearl Kirkby•March 15, 2017
Although I have enjoyed excellent health for around 50 of my 62 years, on 8 December 2016 I had a stroke. Because I could no longer get around nor even take care of my own needs, I had to leave my disabled husband and my home. My youngest son - 26 yrs old - made room in his house and procured a live-in cna/caregiver so that I wouldn't be forced into a nursing facility. Even so, I couldn't take our bed and leave my husband without, so I researched the most affordable temp bedding around...The Inflateable Bed...and found this one!
Mind, I grew up with Coleman when my parents opted for this brand in camping equipment - brand loyalty, you know - and my husband and I even used stacked queen size inflateables for 6 yrs, when our regular matress finally bit the dust. So, when I found this "self-inflate" Coleman, I made the investment. At 20" from floor to top surface, it was the perfect height for me where I wouldn't need assistance getting in or out of bed, it held the air after the initial "stretch" and I was easily able to find my comfort zone.
The only difficulty with this bed has arisen from my own particular stroke-related disabilities, namely the inability to lay in a way that would support my muscles on my entire right, paralyzed side. To remedy this, I purchased a memory foam mattress topper, which fit perfectly between the raised edges of my Coleman Support Rest Twin Elite bed. It was this addition that caused my only problems, as the additional 4" to the base height made it difficult to get on the bed (flacid limbs, you know), even when I deflated it somewhat....it became quite wobbly and I very nearly slid off the edge of the bed onto the floor! I solved the height problem by finding a 3" step to place by the bed, which more than accommodates.
The bottom line is this: the Coleman Support Rest Elite Air Bed is more than just a comfortable, convenient sleep solution. It's actually therapeutic since you can inflate it to your own comfort level, the design is such that it will either cradle you or give you the firmest of support, the floor-to-top surface height is perfect for anyone 5' ^ tall and it accomodates a memory foam topper well, if you have the need.
As a recovering stroke victim, there was nothing in the design of this bed that I am unable to work around...a perfect "all-around" sleep solution!

It is AMAZING. Takes 1 min to blow it up
yulia•January 14, 2017
I have recently purchased this mattress for my mom who was visiting for a few weeks. It is AMAZING. Takes 1 min to blow it up. It has been more than a week and it is still in the same shape as it was , no air loss just yet. It is pretty high as well so it does look like an actual bed once you have the comforter on it. I do recommend this product , i think the quality is great !!!
It was more than I expected!

Works great and excellent quality! I recommend this one as a posed to the cheaper $30 air mattresses. Spend the extra $30 or $40 and get one that you'll keep longer and have less problems.
