So happy I got these. I had such an aphid problem my plants were being destroyed. I released these, and within a day the aphids were gone, and have actually stayed gone. I will order more next year.

My 5 year old daughter helped me release them, and that alone was worth the purchase. She wanted to keep them and name each one! I bought them for aphid removal on my lettuce plants, which I believe they did a great job at. I will be buying more at the end of august for my fall crops. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. We released them at dusk when it was a bit cooler and they were all happily munching on the aphids the next morning. I don't see them as much now, but it is stated that is normal due to their habits and life cycles.

I was very happy to recieve the ladybugs on the first day of the 6 day expected time given. We followed the instructions and released them at the base of each tree after spraying the plants. In the morning, each plant had many dead lady bugs. Many who were on the way to death also. I caught the alive ones, one by one and released them to the top and middle plant with some success. I just found some dead in the plants. I'd say I lost about 2 hundred, give or take. I have been gathering the ones I cn to try to get a more accurate guess. Otherwise, I am very happy, and the ones who are still roaming my plants, seem to be eating well and living among a large pregnant praying mantis, in one large plant.

I was skeptical about ordering live ladybugs to be shipped, but these exceeded my expectations. Many reviews stated they received dead or partially dead orders, so I ordered both this item and another for a total of 3,000 ladybugs just to be safe. They ALL arrived alive and well. There were air holes in the box that assisted in this. When you go to release them, you will need to cut the bag after watering the plants you're releasing them on. I left the bags overnight and into the next day nestled in a tomato plant, and shoot the remaining ladybugs out of the bag that evening.
