I threw these on my cheapo comfort hybrid. I have big feet, and ride around in hiking shoes because I'm a noob. These pedals are great for me. The spikes keep my feet where I plant them.
Also, the spinning action is very smooth. I didn't even feel the need to open these up and add grease. I've got the Imrider pedals on my other bike, and those aren't quite as smooth, even after greasing them myself.
The only things I like better about the Imriders are their appearance, and slightly cheaper price (they're still great, however).
Overall, I prefer the Bonmicx.

Bought these to replace the stock pedals on my Trek DS that were creaking and clicking with every rotation. Really annoying. These pedals installed easily and look really cool with my graphite-colored bike. I ride with just basic athletic shoes, so the increased surface area of the pedals and studs really improve the grip! I've ridden about 80 miles since installing these, and I love that my bike is quiet again. The bearings spin smoothly and pedals seem rugged. Great deal for the price.

High quality, studs give great grip with normal shoes without being too sharp. Put these on my mountain bike (used for light off road and pavement) and immediately noticed a difference. Easier to keep my feet on the pedals, can put more force into the forward/backward part of the motion without slipping, and quieter too (my old beat up pedals had picked up a constant clicking). Very easy to install with just a 15 mm wrench.

I bought these for a gift but I opened the box to sneak a peek. They are very good looking pedals and seem very well made. I bought some for myself from the same manufacturer. They are very similar and they have been awesome for my riding. I ride over some very rough trails and my feet never slip. I just wear regular sneakers and they grip the bottom of my shoe almost as if they were clipped in. I've hit a few rocks but not hard, and the pedals show no damage so far.
