Really nice bag!

This backpack/messenger bag is REALLY nice. I got the large, although I kind of wish I'd gotten the medium. Other reviews commented on how small the bag was so I went with larger, but as a medium sized woman I think the medium sized bag would have been fine. Oh well. I'm planning to bring it as my personal item on a plane, and wanted a bag that zips (so nothing falls out when I cram it under the seat) and that is divided so I can find items easily. I was looking for a backpack as a personal item rather than a tote (pain in the butt to carry around and I dislike purses) and this will do quite nicely. This definitely meets all of my requirements.
It's somewhat heavy, though that shouldn't actually surprise me since it's canvas and "leather". Someone my size (5'6" and fairly thin) might find this cumbersome as a day bag. I think the smaller one would have worked better for that. HOWEVER, it's just the right size for a folder, so if you're out and about, this is perfect for that. My last trip had a lot of interesting handouts from shrines, and I had to fold all of them and they got wrinkled in a drawstring bag. That won't happen if you use this.
The quality seems quite nice. I'd recommend perhaps scotch guarding it because it's not waterproof at all. My only annoyances are it being bigger than I expected (again, that's personal and I wasn't misled by the product description) and the outside buckles being upside down which just looks a little silly and allows them to flop a bit due to gravity. Oh, and the strap is a bit too long for me. I happen to be fairly handy and will just cut the end off of the strap and resew, but even at it's smallest it feels a bit loose. I'm very narrow front to back though, so that won't be an issue for a lot of people. In fact, I saw many comments saying it wasn't long enough. I'll update if it falls apart or anything else happens with it.
And lastly, I got the black. It's lighter than the photo, but I actually prefer it. Kind of a really dark gray or a dusty black.
This was shipped to work and my coworkers were all jealous and asking me where I'd ordered it from and how much it cost.

My journey started mid-flight on the way home from a business trip, frustrated with a leather bag similar to this one in size. It started falling apart after minimal use, after a year and a half. Not only that, it was a struggle fitting my iPad Pro (original 12"x9" big one) in and having any room left over. I then spent about a day reviewing other options including other leather bags, backpacks, and this style. After reading the reviews for this one and another bag, I decided to go for this Leaper bag in blue.
As I took it out of its plastic bag, I was immediately concerned because it looked so small. How could this fit my giant iPad Pro and all my other junk, while leaving enough room for a few other things picked up on long trips. How about holding my iPad Pro, accessories, and my Canon 70D DSLR along with maybe another lens? How could a bag so small carry so much? My older bag couldn't do that, so how could one that is even smaller pull this off?
Well, it did. I'm so impressed with this bag. It's got compartments to spare, is well made, and for $32 you can't beat it. I love how the side compartment will fold up to be flat when you aren't carrying much, and then widen to carry larger items like a DSLR without any complaints. In fact, I loaded this guy up with my iPad, a Canon 70D, an extra lens, and STILL had a lot of compartment space remaining. Absolutely unbelievable.
For a business entrepreneur that's on the go, requiring computing and camera gear in the smallest package possible, this bag delivered.
My only complaint is with the color pictured in the Amazon photos. The actual blue bag I received was a very dark blue. It's not that light denim looking blue color pictured here.

Love this bag! I need them to make a bigger one so I can use it for my life lol!
It makes a great diaper bag because there are a bunch of pockets, I can put my cell phone in one of the side pockets (abiet the pocket doesn't close) and my daughter's cup in the other. It fits three size 4 diapers, 5 size two diapers, one changing mat, two changes of clothes, one wallet, one phone, keys, wipes, DS and one game box, a decent amount of snacks, and ane or two small toys/chewies/paci with the largest size.

It just works!

I got this bag about 5 months ago and still love it.
My intentions were twofold. First, an everyday bag to carry things, including lunch, to and from work. Second was other times when I would want to carry my tablet, its keyboard and some additional things like a hub and mouse. My tablet is roughly 11x9 and fits with ease. My badge fits great in the outer flap pocket and is thus easy to get when needed.
Regardless how I have used this bag, it just always works out great for me.
The material and zippers are all of well made quality. There are LOTS of pockets. The strap is comfortable and wide and padded where needed.
I had done a lot of research in trying to find just the "right" bag, had even ordered and then cancelled on another bag before finding this one. It just works!

This bag is the perfect size for my everyday commute to and from work. It is very well made. One thing that sets it apart from other bags is that there is not a thin lining separating the compartments like most backpacks have. I have gone through many packs where the inner lining gets torn within the first few months of use. Being 6'3" I was worried about it fitting. After adjusting the strap, it fit perfectly with length to spare.
It is very spacious for what appears to be a small bag. I use it to carry my 12" laptop, over-ear headphones, 2 backup batteries, charging cables, Bluetooth mouse, sunglasses, cellphone, gum, flossers, glasses cleaning spray, hand sanitizer, tissues, flashlight, Pepto-Bismol, Advil, contact lens case, contact lens solution, eye rewetting drops, scissors, and chapstick. And there is still room for more.
Definitely well worth the price.
