I bought the Violet Splendor Heather in a small. Later, I bought the Ebony in a medium. The medium has a little more room and looser fit, but doesn't seem much longer. If you're looking for a shorter jacket then this is a good choice.

The inside is a soft, fuzzy sweatshirt type material. The outside is not very soft though. This is a light jacket and I wear it around the house most of the time. I only wear it outside in warmer conditions.

After many washes, neither jacket is shrinking or fading. The zippers work well too.

One thing I don't like about this jacket is the lack of a tie for the hood itself. I don't like to wear this jacket in windy conditions because I can't tie it on tighter.

I like the selection of colors available and the prices are great for the quality and durability of this jacket. Overall, I am happy with this jacket!

The light pink hoodie looks a bit too light in the photograph (it almost looks white on my screen), but it's a really nice "ballet" pink in person.

The hood is really nice too. When you flip it up, it doesn't cover your eyes, but goes right across your forehead.

The pockets are pretty roomy too.

The material is a little thin (which might be perfect for your needs, depending) and is lined with a warm fleece.

Just an all-around good hoodie.

Great standard black hoodie. Good length, not too short like some Women's tops can be. Soft inside, nice smaller toothed zipper that lays pretty flat. My only complaint is the hood is small. Yeah, it does fit over my head but if it's raining I find myself trying to tug it forward in an attempt to keep rain off my glasses and face as well. It would be awesome if it was a little larger. You can always slouch a larger hood whereas a small one if just frustrating!

The fit was perfect. Not too tight and not too baggy. I'm 5'5" and 150lbs. The inside is lined with a soft thin layer of fleece. Just right for warmth and not too bulky to make moving around cumbersome. I've washed it and it's still nice. It did not shrink. The only thing I would say is that the purple is a heather not a solid purple like it looks on the photo. Not a deal breaker for me. I still recommend these to anyone. I will buy more. Wish there were more colors to choose from.
