This is a nice sturdy wheel. Large and realistic. I easily attached it to the wooden playfort we have in our backyard: instant pirate ship. Very satisfied.
For the record, this item could be very easily painted in a wood color if someone wanted to. I probably will do something of the sort.

I bought this wheel to place on a wooden pirate ship I built for my kids. It was perfect. The wheel is large and very simple to install. My kids love it. If you are looking to add some flare to your playhouse or swing set, this is the pirate ship wheel to buy. You will not be disappointed. It is constructed well and seems to very durable. I've seen other reviewers that have complained about the clicking noise it makes. You can always remove the tabs that click, but my kids liked the noise so I kept them on. It took about 2 minutes to install.

We just installed this on out new fort. My 3 year old didn't like the clicking so we just broke of the three tabs that make the clicking sounds before mounting the wheel and now it spins better and is quiet. Love the size and it seems durable. Great addition to our fort!
