Inexpensive fuel pump replacement for Kohler K301

The replacement fuel pump fit well and works fine. After watching a video on installation, I added some oil and exercised the lever arm a few times before installing. The only problem was trying to use the supplied snap ring to install the fuel line adapters. I'm mechanically inclined, but that snap ring was too stiff and would not expand to push in the two slots. After several attempts, ended up using two small drive pins, one on each side, to push in the snaps and then easily install the fuel adapters.
