Handy Little Lights At Very Reasonable Cost
Michael V. Henry✓ Verified Purchase•September 30, 2023
I'm sure you know that this style small LED flashlight is sold under many brand names and at many prices. I really like these little lights, and ever since I bought the first ones several years ago have never been without two or three around the place. Most of these small lights use the same LED chip and are normally powered by three AAA batteries. Battery life is quite good, and the light is bright enough to be useful for just about any task. Perhaps the main advantage is their small size--you could literally carry one in your pocket if you wanted.
Although you will find slightly different designs of the flashlight case, the units are similar enough to suspect that some major manufacturer cranks them out and many different distributors grab them and put their name on them. Although they originally just had the off/on push-button switch, most now incorporate multiple modes of flashing lights along with the steady flashlight beam. For my purposes, I would rather just have the on/off capability, but it's hard to find one with only that these days. The units have been pretty reliable--the aluminum body is sturdy, the battery case holds up, and the LED chip has not failed on any I've had.
These particular Hausbell lights are my most recent purchase, and at 5 bucks apiece I consider them a bargain. I keep one in the house, the car, and my RV, and I've given them to the kids and grand kids. If you haven't bought any of this type light yet, give it a try. Buy the inexpensive ones since most of them at various prices seem to be essentially the same light. I think you'll find that they're really handy to have around.

Good -- you get more than you pay for.

Ordered and received two identical A100 3xaaa battery flashlights with two rubbery red bands (red o-rings) about 5/8" above the bottom of the sliding head. Don't quite match the picture on the box which shows no o-rings on the sliding head. Slightly smaller than my wife's Gearlight LED Tactical that sells a pair for more than twice the money. Nicely finished. I give it 5 stars, not because it's perfect but because it exceeds the advertising and my expectations. Works equally well with ordinary alkaline or rechargeable NiMH batteries. My light meter shows more or less the same brightness regardless of batteries being used. I'm using NiMH batteries finding they give me long life, consistent brightness, and don't leak.
The only negative I find is the funky 5 mode switch. Press all the way to turn on or off. Press the switch more-or-less half way and change mode from bright, medium, low, flashing or SOS. If you have it on bright, turn it off, then back on, it's usually in medium mode.
I note that many of the reviews here for this item are for much older versions of the flashlight, or even different models, some pairs even coming with one regular light and one UV light. I recommend taking the older reviews with a grain of salt. This is a very nice flashlight. Your mileage may vary, but I'm very happy with the pair.

I bought a set of two flashlights and put one into service the same day of receipt. A few days later I got the second one loaded with batteries and put it to use to find a dropped bolt in my truck. After using it a while the light would not shut off. I contacted the customer service through their website and in a few days I received a new set. Great customer service.
Small but they do their job ✨

They are small flashlights but they do their job. They illuminate with bright white light. In small rooms, it illuminates the whole room as if it were a ceiling bulb. They use 3 AAA batteries which are not included with the flashlights. Well packaged and just like the picture.
Great, bright flashlights

These flashlights great for my evening walk. Thay are bright and have an adjustable light, if you need a wider circle of light vs. a narrow band of light.
