With a few adaptations, this works well in our Mini Countryman. Not quite long enough for the end to rest over the bumper but sliding another flat cover under that one gave us the extension we needed. The suction cups work fine on the window and the Velcro stays together well enough. All in all, a good purchase for us and the dogs (Collie and Corgi) have plenty of room.

I was hoping i would find that the other reviews weren't right about it not sticking to the side but unfortunately I ran into the same problem. It will rip of the side the second your pet puts any eight onto it. I like the pocket for storage for leashes and toys. The overall quality is just okay, probably better for smaller dogs who don't like to put everything in there mouths because mine chews up the pocket and the latches that go around the head rest. I only had it for a couple months but i've already had to throw it away. I wont re-buy, i'm probably better off just laying down a blanket.

Beautiful quality fabric and construction. Fits my 2016 Mazda CX3 very well with the back seats down. I have not tried to use the suction so cups or Velcro tape yet. Based on the reviews I read before buying, I won't try the tape but I will try the suction cups adding a bit of water or very light oil to the cup before attaching. That sometimes makes for a better grab.
I really love the cover but I've give the item 4 stars for one reason - it stinks! I left it out in the sun to bleach for 3 days on each side and then left it outside for another 4 days before putting it in my car. It's better but it still smells like brand new rubber. I've even tried Fabreze on it. It cannot be laundered so if anyone has a suggestion on how to get the smell under control, please post!

I have yet to try this in my car because it smells very strongly of chemicals (like paint thinner). We've had it opened and airing out in the garage for three days, and the smell hasn't dissipated. In fact, the whole garage just smells like paint thinner. Not in a rush to put it in my new car with that smell. We're going to try airing it out awhile longer, but will send it back if the smell doesn't go away.
Products works in my Tesla, but has a bad smell

The product fits well in my Tesla, the connection to the headrest does not work in the Tesla but a work around using the rear seat belts solved the problem of the strap slipping off the head rest. It is well made and durable. My biggest problem with this item was the smell. I am not sure what chemicals (glue or materials) cause it but it is very bad. I hung it outside in the breeze for two days. This help a bit but two weeks later I still smell it strongly in my car. Hopefully, it is not toxic and it will eventually fade. My dog refused to get near it for a week now, but is starting to use it now. I am not sure if it is getting better for him or he just doesn't want to be left at home.
