TL;DR - Unless you're using these outside, fading is probably not an issue.

When I was starting my business I first started with sheet labels in my base laser printer, but I wanted to know how well thermal labels would perform. I bought a Dymo 4XL and a mix of Dymo and Kenko labels to experiment with. Both seemed to perform similarly, but there was the nightmare scenario of 'my labels will fade while sitting in the warehouse!' So I tried a scientific experiment! Printed two large Kenko labels, and two smaller Dymo labels, stuck them to each other. Then I mounted one set in an eastern-facing window with direct sunlight and the other set in my stock room. Time passes.
- 3mo both sets looked pretty similar
- 6mo the window set is noticeably faded, but the stockroom set is unchanged from new
- 9mo the window set is very faded but still readable, the stockroom set is still unchanged from new

Conclusion: Fading isn't much of an issue unless you have your labels sitting in direct sunlight. Even then they last quite a while, and there is no noticeable fading difference between Dymo and Kenko labels.

I've been purchasing these same labels from the same vendor for almost 2 years now and they work amazing! I can count on one hand how many times I've had to reboot due to skipped labels and that was when I was using an outdated computer. (I've had similar issues with my inkjet printer and paper so I know its not the thermal labels.) Once I upgraded my computer, I've had exactly ZERO issues! These labels print perfectly every single time. These have been and will continue to be my go to for my Dymo 4xl!

I've been using these for awhile now and am almost ready to reorder. These have a very good price tag but that comes with a different price: your time. When they work, they work great. Super sticky and adheres to my polymailers great. When they don't work be prepared for jams and multiple in a row if you don't correct the problem right away. One of the labels peeled off inside of the machine and stuck to the bottom. It stuck to the inside part too and it took almost an hour to get all of the label off the printer. Not to mention in this process of getting the labels to realine, the printer kept misstepping and printed off blank labels. I lost around 15 labels in the process of getting it to work again. It may have been my fault but the label shouldn't have gotten stuck to my machine in the first place. It was aligned from the day before so I thought all was well. Otherwise I would rebuy as the ease of every other time is fine.

The labels are the exact size I was looking for, are easy to apply, and stay in place. My one issue is that they are very thin and you can see right through them to anything that is on the envelope of box underneath. I reuse mailing envelopes and boxes for shipping items on a daily basis, as I'm sure many people do. With these, you have to completely remove or cover any writing underneath the area where this label will be placed.

Overall I am happy with these labels for my Dymo LabelWriter 4XL. I ship about 30-50 packages a day and was looking for a way to save money on expensive Dymo labels. This was my first time trying these 'compatible' labels and after reading the Amazon reviews, decided to give it a go. I am pleased. I had a little trouble initially installing the roll, but once installed it has worked fine.
PROS: The print is clear. There were no jams at all. Other reviews talked about issues with their adhesive ability, but they stick just fine to me.
CONS: They're not of the same thick and heavy quality that Dymo labels are, but as long as they get the job done...who cares :).
Also, the way the roll arrives sealed and taped, you will lose the first 3 labels trying to open it. So my roll of 220 labels was really 217 usable labels. The first 3 were trash because of the glue/tape. See attached pictures. Again no biggie, considering the money I'm saving overall.

UPDATE: Purchased 4 more rolls and have been using for a month now. Now problems at all. It's working out very well for me and i'm happy with the results of the labels and more importantly how much I'm saving over buying Dymo brand. I changed my rating from a 4 star to a 5 star. 'Bout to buy more. :)
