It was like I was going to receive a box of gold bars. It was taped up like when you do registered mail, and then inside the wire was bubble wrapped and taped up. As far as I can tell the wire is good no breaks or anything like that.

As good as magnet wire gets. I liked the fact that the enamel was enough of a different color from the underlying copper so that it was easy to tell when enough had been scraped away to allow soldering.
