This Gorilla Cart does way more than its fair share of hard work. The over-sized tires provide one with the ability to haul over rough terrain, its dumping action makes easy work of emptying out all the rocks and debris one might fill it up with. I've not yet looked, but am hoping there is some add-on product which adds rails to the top of the cart. It has the holes built in for such an item, and if they don't exist, I certainly plan on building something so as to add to the capacity of the cart.

Only 4 stars due to the relative softness of the plastic the bed of the cart is made from. Do not think you will keep this in pristine condition. Anything with weight or sharp edges will gouge and scratch the interior of the cart. But it's a work tool, so unless the bed actually wears through, I'm okay with this.

Additionally, I find it very challenging to steer the cart unless it is being pulled, on level surface, and not fully loaded. Going up or down hill will prove to be challenging to keep it in straight line. But just take it slow and it should perform well for you.

The dumping mode adds a nice feature, but can be challenging to engage if you overfill the cart--so take it easy there as well.

All-in-all, I recommend this product for utility and value.

Very nice heavy-duty cart. Assembly is simple, but it definitely helps to have two people. especially if you're arthritic. The assembly instructions do leave much to be desired, but I figured them out without too much aggravation. There is no text. it's all pictures and numbered steps that correspond to numbered fasteners. they should tell customers to leave the pivot bolts on the dump mechanism a little lose, so I'm telling you now; leve them a little bit loose. :) All the nuts are lock nuts so there is no worry about having them work loose. I also don't like the cotter pins for holding the wheels on, but we'll see how they hold up over time.

I don't like the combination heads (Phillips/slotted) on the carriage bolts for attaching the bin to the frame. They should be hex head bolts and the fact that they're carriage bolts is just plain silly. the square hole in the plastic bin will not stop the bolts from turning. I think I'm going to replace them with hex head bolts before they have a chance to corrode.

the way the dump mechanism works really helps you when you have a heavy load to dump. the rear wheels move with the bin, relieving most of the lifting effort when dumping your load. as you lift the front of the bin, the rear wheels move forward and the rear of the bin drops all the way to the ground. There are situations where this makes it a little more difficult to dump a load accurately, than with a wheelbarrow, such as if you need to dump over a raised obstacle, but in most situations it is a huge advantage. Works wonderfully for moving my firewood around.

IMPORTANT NOTE! that cool one-handed king pin that is shown as "often purchased together"? It does NOT work with this cart. the holes in the tongue for connecting the cart for towing are too small. I may drill the holes out larger; haven't decided yet.

I love this wagon. After receiving it I had 3 yards of soil delivered for raised garden beds I made and shortly after filling my first load I noticed my front wheel was going flat. I tried filling it but kept losing air. I tried some tire flat foam but it was leaking around the valve stem. I contacted the company via the warranty section on their website and no questions asked they shipped me a brand new tire. I would have been happy with just a inner tube but they sent the entire wheel and tire. Now thats customer service who stands behind their product. Today I had 4 more yards of topsoil delivered for some landscaping needs and this things performs way better then a wheelbarrow. I am not sure how much a fill tub of soil weighs but they do only recommend 1/2 the max weight for dumping. I had filled this thing to the max probably 20 times if not more and it dumped just fine. Yes its gets heavy trying to lift a tub full of soil but really not that bad. This rolls over uneven terrain without any issues. Don't waste your time with a wheelbarrow that is difficult to maneuver and harder on your back, let alone set one down the wrong way and it will tip over.. This isn't an issue with the cart plus I have not found any wheel barrow that has a capacity anywhere near this.

Wow, this cart is a lifesaver. It was easy to assemble, and all parts seem to be of very high, durable quality. The dumping feature is excellent, and the wheels are awesome. This cart easily rolls over the terrain. The bed size is just right for hauling around logs or a pile of sticks or even a bunch of wet leaves. My previous cart had a fixed handle, and it was frustrating to have it take up that much more storage space. If you've ever tried to back up a vehicle with a small trailer, you'll know that this cart isn't super easy to reverse in a straight line; but, with a little patience, I've managed to back it up through tight spaces between trees for dumping yard waste.

I read a lot of reviews on this cart from Amazon and other places. I was a little worried about buying the cart with all the tire, assembly and bad smell reviews. I realized after I got the cart there is a lot of people who struggle with following directions. Assembly 5 easy steps 20 minutes that included getting out the tools and putting them away when finished. Assembly can easily be done with 1 person and would probably be 10 minutes with 2 people. The smell everyone is complaining about is worse when you open the plastic inside the box.I assembled mine in the garage after I was done with assembly the smell was nearly gone. If you are going to assemble in your house I would recommend opening a window and using a small fan to move air towards the window. If you are assembling outside only open the nuts and bolts 1 step at a time so your not dropping and losing parts. I would also suggest using a ratchet wrench if you don't own any buy some from amazon. Also on the Safety Instructions is stated that this has a load capacity of 1200 pounds and a dump capacity of 500 pounds. Do not exceed 5 mph. Do not inflate over 30 psi. Do not use on surfaces that can damage the tires. After reading this I realized where all the tire problem reviews came from. It also says do not use this cart for passengers like kids, pets and adults. I would strongly recommend this cart to anyone who can read. The cart can hold a lot the turn radius is amazing the dump feature is great works smooth and easy the handle for use on a lawn mover is great. I also like that you are able to add a railing around the cart.
