This cover is about 1/2 the weight of my previous one so it is easier to handle and works well with a reel. it fit well with the width as it seems to be a bit wider than the advertised width; that left some overlap to fit snugly to the pool. I would have liked to have had clips to come with it, along with new but longer straps.
Instructions on how to accurate attach to the reel would have been helpful. Learn by doing means rework and juggling guesses.
Most important missing information was a caution to leave the cover off after applying new chlorine or shock to the pool. I had to find out from my local pool store that bleach makes the cover deteriorate. My old cover might have lasted a bit longer had I known that.

When the cover arrived rolled up, it had a rip at the bottom of the roll as if it had been dragged on something. I did not want to return it, as I needed it for summer. Hoping it was not damaged, I had to sew pieces together for my clover-shaped concrete pool.
Just be sure to order a size larger than you need to prevent having to do much of that.
The cover so far seems to heat the pool fine and is ok to handle. Since I have not used it long enough to comment on the quality and durability, I cannot say how long it will last.

Heated our pool up in 3 days. Also really helps keep the pool clean. Only thing is you have to up your chemicals to prevent an algae bloom.

We bought this product for this April 23 2023for summer season. It is already coming apart. It's very thin and noticed when it came from box and we could see our pool sweep through it once placed on pool. We've bought many covers and are happy if they last 2 seasons, it's a good product.
NOW on this one only lasting 5 months is horrible. We noticed the bubbles coming off while in the water around June when removing it from the pool for swimming that day back in June. We will have to throw away now since its gotten way worse. This plugs the filter and makes a big mess. Plus it wasn't cheap. Very disappointed in this product.

This is as described. I cut it roughly to fit the shape of my in ground pool and it stays in place, warms it substantially in the sun, reduces chlorine loss, and reduces evaporation which can waste water and quickly cool the water. I don't have a cover roller thing as I'm not that dedicated, but pulling it on and off isn't too hard. Just don't let it lay on the grass more than an hour or there's no going back! Also be careful pulling it after the first year as it is prone to tearing as it ages.
This is my second one and I know others who used these sort of bubble wrap covers, and some things seem certain. The bubbles eventually fill with water and/or separate leading to shedding of plastic circles and degraded performance. My first one was great the first year, started falling apart the second, and rapidly turned to bits and strips of plastic the third. Your experience should be better if you treat it well (keep if off the pool when chlorine is too high, don't leave it out year round, move it carefully or with a cover roller). I recommend these and you won't be disappointed if you go in with realistic expectations and the knowledge that it does degrade and won't last as long as advertised. And I pity the fools who think warranties on things like this are worth anything or are easy to use.
