I bought this camera in Aug '20. The camera is exactly what I wanted and what was described. I especially love that it connects directly to my phone when I'm traveling - it's mounted inside my horse trailer (on the glass suction plate) and I can check on my guy as we travel along to be sure he's doing well. It gives me great piece of mind. Because it's portable and can be mounted almost anywhere, I see tons of uses for it when I'm not hauling a horse :). The glass suction plate works great on my aluminum trailer. I had a couple questions which I emailed support for and their support is GREAT. I received answers back right away with clear instructions/suggestions. Kudos to their support team!!

I just bought a second Nucam after having one for 3 years. They work great for seeing behind my trailer while driving. I did not want to run any wires and was pleased to find this great camera. The 7-8 hours of battery life has been enough but now that I want to take longer trips I bought a second one to make sure I don't run out of battery or have the old one stop working. The 3year old battery now takes 24 hours to charge so I am going to buy replacement batteries. I did not have metal to stick the magnetic base on so I screwed a piece of wood to the trailer and the camera base to the wood. Anytime I leave the trailer while traveling I can just unscrew the camera from its base to avoid it being stolen. Customer service has been great to work with and is good at answering questions.

I am the manager of one of the largest motor camps in the country and have found a slightly different application for my NuCam WR that saves me a huge amount of time and greatly reduces the risk of me damaging a guest's caravan. Our camp has 411 sites and many of our guests return to our camp every year. We lease some land off the farmer over the road and use this to store caravans for approxiamately 100 of our returning guests. The storage area is rather tight for space so backing the caravans into tight gaps was a risky manuver until my son put me onto the NuCam WR. Most of the vans have plastic or aluminium bodywork so the strong magnetic mounting capability of the NuCam is of little benfit in my application. I purchaced a cheap vacuum dent puller and mounted the NuCam onto this. The first stage of collecting or returning a caravan to the storage facility involves backing into the tow hitch. Getting the correct positioning for this by myself used to involve a lot of guestwork and several extra manuvers requiring me to get our of my ute and go around the back to check that I was aligned correctly and the right distance back. Now I simply use the NuCam to see excactly where I need to drive to, first time. Once I'm hooked up I shift the NuCam to the back of the caravan. This gives me great visability of vehicles approaching from behind as I tow the vans up the public road to the farm gate. The camera then makes it extremely easy to back the vans into the tight spaces between neighbouring vans.

Very happy with the NuCam WR. I had a few setting up problems and the problems were solved with Roy's help from Nuvending.com.
One of the helps Roy gave me was the downloading of an up-dated Operation Manual. Request the up-dated manual from Nuvending.com. The print is huge! Just what an 80 year old eyes need! The update is more thorough than the manual that came with the camera.
I was concerned with the flashing green light but after reading in the up-dated manual, I found out that the flashing green light goes off if you are using the camera to help with inside or outside security. The green light is a safety plus if you are using the camera to backup to a trailer or RV.
Now it is off to setting up the camera for security in and around the RV or home. I printed out a copy of the Operation Manual to use the camera. A copy will be very helpful, at least for me, to review and follow setup procedures.
So onward with using the WR!
I never give friends recommendations for buying a product. The WR camera has abilities that work in so many ways and, and, yes, to certain friends I will/would recommend this camera.

Purchased June 2020, used multiple times when pulling our 15-foot teardrop camper. A bit glitchy when first connecting to an Android tablet, usually requires a couple of tries, but then solid with a strong WiFi signal. Typically get about 5-6 hours of battery life on a full charge. The field of view is excellent, and the camera has good resolution, really helps when passing another vehicle and monitoring traffic behind the camper. Easy to mount, and the magnet is quite strong, but I use a zip tie just to be sure. As other reviewers have noted, there's really no way to monitor the battery life. Overall, this camera has made pulling our trailer a lot less stressful and much safer!
