I use these around the house as rags! I needed something that was affordable, absorbent and not the microfiber stuff because I don't like how it feels on dry skin. So these were perfect! They almost remind me of cut up heavy duty t-shirts which is what we used for rags when I was little! So I use these to clean up spills on the floor or the countertops or whatever

These are the traditional old shop rags. They work just fine. The red ones if washed bleed the red dye. Anything left in the wash load will come out with a pink to red color. The 14 x 14" dimension for these towels is a real stretch. Pun intended. After washing they are more like 11 x 11" . But they are absorbent and a decent value
