I couldn't believe the difference between what the pictures showed it would look like and what it actually looked like. I tried it in a small inconspicuous area. It was very chalky and only highlighted the cracks in the leather. I had to return it, but customer service was great and refunded with no problems.
Works great for recommended uses.

Color match very close, covered well although 30 ml doesn't go too far. A little dull when dries but with some leather polish after drying, the chair looks just like new. Don't expect the dabbing with the included applicator sponge to leave much texture, it does not. But to fill in scratches and small defects it works great. No color transfer after it dries. Works very well for intended uses; will not fill in or retexture large defect, only will allow a color blend.

Having never had a good experience with any kind of "touch up" paint or dye, I had my doubts about color matching, about how this product was applied, and about how it would look, feel and dry after application. I was pleasantly surprised in all 3 areas. The color was virtually a perfect match for the upholstery in my Lexus SC430. Application with the enclosed sponge was easy and drying time after each coat was quick. It took a few applications to cover the areas of the leather armrests that had been worn over the years and I did clean the surface thoroughly beforehand (first, with Windex, then with isopropyl alcohol to make sure there were no oils or waxes). Now, it's very hard to distinguish the areas I re-dyed vs. the original leather finish.

I purchased this in grey to refresh tired leather car seats in a 20yo car and am very pleased with the result! I filled in the multitude if lines that had the tan leather showing and brought back a uniform grey color. Worth every penny! Easy to apply and does not rub off once dried. I tested w a white cleaning rag and there was no transfer of the dye/color.
