Chipped, rusted after 2 uses

I was extremely disappointed by how these held up. After putting these through the dishwasher for the second time ever, ALL of the knives came out chipped and rusted. I washed all the knives blades down and the forks/spoons face up to try to prevent scratching the knives. However, you can see I was unsuccessful. I was able to hand-scrub the rust and grime off the knives, which is how I can see the scratches and chips in the finish of them. I am guessing I will just have to resort to always hand washing my knives. I thought the 18/10 quality of this flatware set would have held up better than the 18/0 flatware I previously used. The flatware themselves are a very chrome looking finish, it looks a bit cheap to me. They are also "bigger" than what I would prefer, but I guess that's the risk I took ordering them online. I would not recommend this flatware set at all.

I bought it but returned it. It was pretty enough. There were no sharp edges anywhere so the finish was great. I returned it because the neck areas are too thin. I am a man but I don't have massive hands or anything like that. I just found the pressing on the neck area with my index finger on the fork was not comfortable. The spoons seemed too dainty. Also the bottom end of them where they are flared out and rounded was too big. Really strange flatware for me. The knife was the only thing I found usable from a comfort standpoint. The knife has serrations on both sides of the cutting blade so it appeared to be a good quality knife.
I guess the biggest complaint for me was they just weren't comfortable to me.

Very pleased with this silverware set. Each piece is sturdy and heavyweight. I was not satisfied with the finish on a couple of the pieces and contacted Customer Service. They were very helpful and replaced the set.

I bought two sets and am absolutely stunned at how beautiful they are. They have a nice weight to them and feel solid as can be. I unpacked, washed, and stared in awe. I will report back if the finish wears off or something goes awry but at this point, i am very impressed.

I'm so glad I didn't assume I had to spend a lot more on flatware. The Artaste Rain set is absolutely gorgeous. I bought 3 20-piece sets and I was so impressed that I just bought a fourth 20-piece set as back up in case I lose or damage a piece. Another reviewer compared this setting to something on a "Downton Abbey" table and I certainly agree. The pieces have a great weight and have a brilliant "polished silver" sheen to them. The larger spoon is great for soup and doesn't have a "sharp" edge and isn't too deep like some other spoons I've had. They simply feel great in the hand and look great on the table. I feel bad about leaving in a drawer all day!!! I have been washing them in the dishwasher without any issues and they don't even get water spots on them like my old flatware did.
