I love pine nuts
ChristineAugust 3, 2017
I love pine nuts. These are the best I have eaten. They come packed well are fresh. I will be ordering more.
Best quality at a better price
YunSongJuly 31, 2017
These taste so good that they're almost addicting--not at all bitter like the two different brands I bought at the store (both grown in China). Also, the pointed ends don't have that dry, dark brown part.
I've looked at other pine nuts on Amazon to try, but after looking at all the details, these seem to be the most trustworthy "organic" ones. Other listings that sounded equal in quality are overpriced.
Another reason this got a 5-star review is because of the company's responses. I read that somebody wanted the listing photo to show the proper 200g package instead of 500g, and it got changed. Somebody else pointed out that the packaging itself didn't state "organic" and now it comes with a pamphlet that states "organic pine nuts" in bold.
I do wish that the package was somehow resealable, but as long as the price doesn't go up I'll stick with purchasing from Siberian Treasure.
Delicious pine nuts
GZJuly 21, 2017
Those pine nuts have delicious taste - reminded me of pine nuts from my childhood. Thanks to vacuum packaging they are not dry as the ones you buy in Whole Foods. Quite opposite, have natural moisture and smell. They are smaller in size though.
My fam eats them straight and we also add it to our salads.
I guess since they are packaged and shipped directly from Siberia you would not find USDA organic label on it. But that region is known for natural nongmo production. Plus, those pine nuts are harvested from wild pine forests.
I would definitely buy it again.
No after-taste, very delicious
K. PaulJuly 17, 2017
Usually I like to go for the cheapest product, or at least a good deal, so I was hesitant to purchase these as they were more expensive. But I read all the reviews and decided to take the chance. They were incredibly good. There was none of that nasty after-taste of the cheaper ones, which is what I was trying to avoid. I can recommend these without reservation.
