Too flimsy to wear over toe socks.

Had hoped I was going to be able to wear these over toe socks to cushion between the socks and the shoe. The material this guard is made out of is too soft and flimsy to do that, I'm concerned it will rip if I try to put it over my big toe. Not even sure if I find one that doesn't have the separator that the material will stay in place in the sock with all the rubbing I get on the bunion when I walk. Yes the material is soft and cushiony, but that makes me think it won't last very long. Back to the drawing board for another solution.

Bought for my mother in law, she is very happy and says that it has helped her foot pain go away. She was going to have surgery for her foot problem but this has helped keep her from surgery.

Great product - I can actually wear heels without pain. I've used toe-spacers for years, which have helped with keeping my bunions under control and mitigating pain while wearing shoes, but the addition of the cover/pad is almost life-changing. It protects the bunion itself from chaffing and makes my heels super-comfortable. I have yet to test it out in a pair of boots that have always given me problems, but I have high hopes.

Very comfortable and protective. Will order again. Have right foot bunion and of course 2nd toe overlap. Separator keeps big toe separated from 2nd toe thus eliminating rubbing. Also shield keeps shoe from rubbing bunion. Best I have tried.
