Adorable. I actually bought this as an "interim" umbrella since I'm waiting for a larger fabric umbrella for my balcony. I live in a south facing apartment, top floor, and the sun blazes. My market umbrella unfortunately is not from amazon and you know what that means, shipping takes its sweet time. In the meantime I got this inexpensive one and I really like it. The "tiki" appearance adds texture and whimsy. Very nice quality for the price and easy to put together/raise. The one thing I would recommend is take into consideration the size. This is on the smallish side. I could have even gotten the 8', so measure carefully the area you want to shade.

Not sure about all the great reviews but mine came already falling apart right out of the box. Also, the "thatch" part looks super fake, like shredded plastic grocery store bag. The pole looked to be built pretty well but I returned it and paid the extra $ for the real thing.
No "Vented Canopy" as Amazon picture states.

Had two delivered today. From the reviews, I fully expected this not be of the best materials, but the 3-star rating came from the false advertising picture on Amazon. As of July 2017, One the six (6) Amazon pictures for this EasyGo Tiki Umbrella state, "Eco Friendly, VENTED CANOPY for better air release". If you believe this is the typical separate air vent flap you see on several outdoor patio umbrellas, you will be mistaken. This umbrella material is similar to the material of a small umbrella for a single individual, but larger and plastic thatch attached. There is NO separate air vent for heavy wind areas. There is also a metal button to secure the bottom and top pieces. One of mine was missing this. Luckily there is a secondary lever are that helps keep them together.

The tiki look is great for our upper outside balcony deck. We're on a lake, so it s/times gets windy here. We're using a 24 lb umbrella stand, which is a little lightweight. 1st.day it blew over 3 times; but no damage. So I tethered the pole to our patio railing and added an actual anchor weight on top of the stand. Going to use the included (though flimsy) umbrella cover to help keep its tropical and whimiscal appearance.

Problem I am having is finding a good sturdy base to hold it, the diameter of 1.25 is given me a headache, it is almost impossible to find a base to fit it as most are l.50 however I have not given up! I got a base here at amazon, which I loved with the cocktail attachment only no table, which I loved, added water to base, I could have added sand, which I will do tomorrow, so far, the wind blew the umbrella completely airborne twice right off deck, today, it came again, from other direction and flipped the base, telling me need sand in base about 75 lbs to hold base not 45 water weight, as far as the diameter of pole, when the umbrella went airborne right off deck, no damage twice, I added a couple of homemade fillers. like a paint can opener, didn't work, but helped then I found a garden plastic stake poked it around the base to fill gap of .25 still I am going to get it to work as I think it is cool! I might have to send the base back but I hope not I want to make a photo to share, my camera is down will share more later!
