Just hope it last for long time

I'm been using Square over a year now , my reader just broke so I buy this dock in Amazon , hoping it last for a long time .
This dock has a long cable so I can stay far from the outlet but the cable start from the front of the dock , not in the back or on the side ... so every time I use kinda it in my way ...
Second thing I don't like is the small piece in the front is the pain , if I don't put it in then sometimes when I slide the card in wrong place ...
And if I put in in like it suppose to then it's really hard to take it out so I can turn on the reader once a while
