Bought this for girlfriend over Christmas. The product was lighter than she's used to so it requires a bit of a learning curve. Otherwise it's works quite well. Lights are very bright and mesmerizing. The only complaint I have is that the lights aren't controllable, they just have a preprogrammed pattern which seem to just go with the music. Shipping to Canada was fairly quick as well

Got this for my Daughter and she really loved it. When fully charged it is a very bright and nice Led Glow on the White PVC looking type of material. You cant pick a pattern and it just fades in and out of different random colors. You can't program or keep a specific color on, It is always changing colors.
It has held up well and lasted for 6 months of light use and we have wood floors which it has hit many times.

This is a poor value, and I'll tell you why as I happened to also purchase a $17 Hula Hoop from Ebay.
They are identical with a minor difference. This Hoop Shop hula hoop is fitted for a 14500 battery; this is done through a conductive spacer added to the battery compartment. This allows the hula hoop to receive 3.7 volts whereas my Ebay one used 2 AA batteries. The Ebay one appeared dimmer until I tested it with 3 AA batteries (couldn't latch it) at which time the LEDs were just as bright and vibrant. They had the same flashing pattern, changing colors; some flashed fast while others slowly blended colors. The hoops were the same weight, made of the same material, and had the same built quality. The Ebay one came with striping added.
I was hoping to upgrade from my $17 hula hoop, but this is just a cheap hula hoop with a better battery.
My conclusion: If you can wait a month, instead of this, order a cheap one on Ebay from China directly and a 14500 battery. If you don't have a good charger already like a Nitecore D4 or D2, you're missing out on life, get one! Also buy a "AA dummy spacer" for a couple bucks.

These are super light so it takes some practice to get them moving. You have to do really big, exaggerated gyrations, not like a regular Wham-o kind of Hula Hoop. But they are pretty!

Love this hoop!! I wish had a couple more!! The only complaint I would give it, that I wish there were a few more lights added to the internal lights. There are a few places on the hoop where the spacing between the lights isn't uniform. But it's a great size and weight, and so fun!!
