Have only had it for less than a week, but loving it so far. I've completely stopped using the plastic tip style hair brush I've used my whole life and am only using this wooden comb and brush set, now. I'm taking the time to fully/properly brush my hair each day with this and I've already noticed that my hair seems fuller and smoother. I flip my hair over and brush from the nape of my neck to the tips, moving through all of my hair. Then I flip my hair back and brush from the front to the tips, moving through all of my hair. I take 5ish minutes or so to do the whole mess of hair. I do have to say that by the end of the the brushing, my hand is a bit tired from holding the brush, as it is substantially larger than the small travel size brushes I've used my entire life. Will update review if anything changes, but so far, would definitely recommend!! Would REALLY LOVE it if the seller made a travel size version, as this is going to be extremely difficult to find a way to squeeze into my travel toiletries bag.

This was of better quality than I was expecting, especially for the price that was paid. I got this set for our son who absolutely loves it. They are both very sturdy and would be a great gift for anyone, the bag is a nice touch and the box is really nice as well.

Okay so I have fine hair that I nearly decimated with heat and from yanking on it last March with a huge round brush on a daily basis. I noticed my hair on the front part of my scalp thinning out. I stopped heat and using that round brush and started using castor oil and beginning my quest to find a shampoo and conditioner for my hair.

While I was reading how to try and recuperate my hair, I kept reading about using boar brushes for fine hair to distribute oils better, and massage the scalp to assist in keeping my hair healthy. I came across this brush with good reviews and decided to give it a try.
I have been trying my best since I bought this brush, to brush my hair twice a day and comb it with this wooden comb it comes with (which is a cute bonus)
I didn't want to write a review until I knew how I felt about it

It has definitely helped with how often I have to wash my hair as it does make my hair oils distribute a lot more (before I couldn't go more than a day or two before looking like the top half of my head looked slathered in oil). It also give my hair a little volume after brushing it out. My boyfriend has noticed my hair looking different and healthier since I started using this brush.

Now, nothing is an end all be all cure, but this brush is definitely a good tool to have if you're working towards caring for your hair. I personally have very fine hair and at the moment it is recuperating from being thinned out at the front by my dumb-self. I also unfortunately inherited my grandmas hair genes and my hair is fragile and fine so I say definitely buy this brush if you have my type of hair.

I am new to the concept of boar bristle brushes. It is much softer than I expected. Gentle on the hair, great for distributing natural oils to the ends and getting rid of any dirt/flakes/etc.
The wooden handle is lightweight but sturdy and the brush seems very well made.
I really like the comb that comes with it. It is wide-tooth and made of a really nice wood that has a great weight to it and is super smooth. Feels really nice on the scalp. My hair is very long so I finger-comb my hair first, then use the wide-tooth comb, then boar bristle brush.
My hair is noticeably shinier.
The hemp carry bag is where my brush and comb live. I like the idea of keeping the brush covered because the bristles capture dirt/dust so well.

I am really happy with this brush. I have very fine long hair and I've been using Natural Bristle Brushes since I was a teen. I'm now a senior citizen and because I'm post-menopausal my hair is both drier and more fragile than it used to be. I needed a new brush anyway, this one looked different than any I've had before because it has the kind of "padded" backing under the bristles I normally associate with plastic"Vent brushes". It's perfect! The shape, the texture of the bristles, and the padding under it feels like it does a better job of allowing the bristles to penetrate to the scalp, not just the surface hair. Although it's not intended for actual de-tangling, nevertheless it does OK unless I have really bad dread knots underneath in the back where I slept on it. I have another type of brush for those anyway. But I feel like it's good for my hair and scalp, gives it shine and volume and distributes what oil I have left in it. Also cleans out blanket lint, etc., without pulling out or breaking my hair too. I also like the company; it came nicely packaged with a comb in a canvas drawstring pouch. I would deal with them again. I appreciated the care instructions and thank you card they included. I'm picky about brushes; more so since age has rendered my hair more breakable and I lose more brushing it than I used to. This is the best new brush I've had in years and in a month or so of using it's holding up well and I'm as satisfied as I was the 1st time I used it.
