Serves it purpose. Good for the price. I am using it as secondary storage on a low shelf in the pantry. It's not so secure I would trust it on a higher shelf. I put one side against the wall for extra support. You could always just use some wood glue when putting it together but by the time I realized it would need it it would have been a pain to take it apart ant put it together again. Overall happy with the purchase. Would purchase again.

Very flexible design. I bought it to fit around a small window in a tiny pantry in the kitchen of our 1898 victorian house.
Made from inexpensive soft wood but sturdy enough to do the job it is made for. Reminds me of the wooden tinker toys I grew up with.
Not all of the holes are perfectly centered and not all of the dowels fit tightly.
I agree that a rubber mallet helps assembly for the tight dowels and if you don't plan on taking it apart, a drop of wood glue would help with the loose ones.
Since it is bare wood, it can be stained or finished in any way you choose.

Note that this review is for the 120 bottle rack with 4 posts. The reviews are all combined for 5 different wine rack products. Any reviews that cite difficult assembly do not apply to this model - I had it together in about 15 minutes with the help of a power drill with allen/hex bit. They supply allen wrench, but power is the way to go since there are 64 screws! Be careful not to overtorque or the screws will go too far into the pine. Quality was about what I expected for a very low cost item. When assembled, it is sturdy and looks nice in my "wine cellar" There are virtually no written instructions - just make sure the longer undrilled end of the posts are up to get the side support on the top rack. Great value! The pine seems to be completely unfinished, so you could easily apply a nice wood finish to this if you desire. I was prepared to do some sanding, and had my trusty power sander standing by, but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to.

As you have read in other reviews, this is wine rack lacks from quality control. The holes are uneven, the pieces do not lie flat. I included a picture to show what I mean.
I would not recommend this for a countertop or places where aesthetics are important.
It suits my needs because this is going inside a cabinet.
My recommendation would be to glue the pieces together to keep it from falling apart.

Needs Better Quality Control

Could use a little better quality control on the size of the dowels and drilling the holes. The first time I purchased, the dowels were slightly too small of diameter and so the rack wasn't as solid as it could have been. Since not all of the holes are drilled to the same depth, it can be tricky to get a uniform wine rack once you start adding more and more pieces together. I liked it enough to buy again, but unfortunately those dowels ended up being slightly too large and wouldn't fit properly. I gave up halfway through the second set.
