Works if you have a solid desk to mount

Bought this to organize the cables under my Ikea stand-up desk (Skarsta). The trays come with 4 screws to mount the trays to the desk, 2-screws per tray. Unfortunately, my desk is hollow in the center (particleboard and dreams) so I was unable to secure this with the provided screws. I had some industrial Velcro and ended up mounting this with a 10" stripe of industrial Velcro.

These are exceptionally simple devices that have been instrumental in allowing me to clean up the wire clutter underneath my home office desk. It's important to measure the dimensions of your panel to make sure these will fit as they are slightly taller than expected, but you'll want that extra space, especially if you're planning to do what I did and place a whole power strip in these.
I placed these on the inside surface of my desk and with some time and patience was able to bundle my cables and wires and stuff them all into these two, power strip included, and run the line down the wall-facing portion of my desk to the power outlet, resulting in what becomes an apparently cable-free desk, and the exceptionally sparse appearance actually does wonders for your overall mood and stress level when you spend a lot of time working at that desk! I love this product and would definitely recommend it to another potential buyer.
The trays do ship with mounting brackets that you'll need to drill holes into the desk to use, but I wasn't really interested in being that invasive, so I bought 3M Scotch 4011 Exterior Mounting Tape and installed them using that instead. Has held up very well without any signs of budge after several months.

I used this on a desk that didn't have any wire management. I needed to keep the wires away from my girlfriend's wire hungry rabbit. Only 1 screw hole lined up which isn't a big deal considering this isn't purpose-built for any specific desk, but more screw holes would have been nice.
Adhesives do work well on this, I ended up getting some 3M VHB and sticking it to the metal bar under the desk and after letting it sit for a day and a half it is solid as can be.

Dimensions/color/etc exactly as described, and installation / spinal woes were a result of having to lie under my desk to screw these in, no fault of the product itself. Provided an inexpensive way to handle my weird cord management setup at work. It's not gorgeous or anything, but does the job MUCH better than the adhesive cable runners I had under there that kept falling off, and there's plenty of room for the power strip.
Only gripe I have is that the tray is relatively shallow in height, so with my stupid gigantic mac power adapter the power strip has to hang out at an angle vs. sitting upright. No big deal, but a taller height option would be nice to have.

I like this product as a wire management solution as it comes with two trays and was inexpensive. I opted to use wood screws to install rather than rely on adhesive pads but the trays are sturdy enough. My only suggestion would be to drill a few openings on back wall of the tray but that is easy enough to rectify with a dremel or a drill.
