Tall head allows an Auto Meter temperature sender/sensor to fit without impeding flow. Used to measure water temp entering or exiting MINI turbo housing. I backbored it from the 14mm thread end. This is the only adapter that will hold a long & fat AM temp sender with 1/4 NPT.
