I love the retro look, and the fresh color of the butter tub. It's a real bonus that it holds two sticks of butter. I love it. I have yet to try out the little cutting board that is the cover, but so far I love it. It's a great size and shape and seems to be a sturdy material. I needed a butter dish that I could use when I have guests over for dinner. I like this one because it is deep enough so that there is no buttery mess left when guests remove their butter portion. I keep a butter knife on the wooden lid until serving time and then place the butter knife in the dish for serving. I like the look of this butter dish...attractive, easy to handle and no guessing what is inside....

The lid isn't tight so it's easy to get to the butter, the enamel work is perfect and I like that it's not stark white, but more of a cream color. Although I thought the lettering and trim work would be black, it's a very dark blue. I also received a very nice follow up email from the vendor. Good service!
