Great ear plugs after some getting used to.

I used to use other ear plugs that have a similar shape/concept, but they're a little more expensive (and since my husband tends to lose them, I didn't want to keep spending that). At first I hated these ones. They have a similar concept as my original ones, but they are larger and didn't fit in my ear well and they hurt my ears. But after wearing a few times, now they've formed to my ears better and they don't hurt. They block out sound well and they stay in.

My husband has a habit of reusing foam ear plugs over and over... even for years (I tossed those suckers once I realized it) I figured these might be cleaner and more sanitary. He has rather large ear canals and these didn't fit snugly and fell out. He went back to the foam ones. I feel like they are adequate and have nothing bad to say about the actual product.

I buy these so I can sleep while my husband stays awake watching tv. These do the job for me just fine. Not sure if they have any laytex in them, some nights my ears are itchy with these. I wash them in water and mild soap. I like having earplugs with cords so you don't lose them in the bed if they ever fall out or if you take them off for any reason. I wish the cord was about 10" longer. Love that these have a soft cloth type cord as my last plugs had plastic cording which would break all the time. A fabulous price for ten pair!!

As an insomniac, I have searched the internet for the best earplugs and hadn't found them. Until I found these. I bought them for a trip to Las Vegas, sharing a room with 4 other people (& 1 really loud snorer) & these ear plugs really blocked out the noise! Of course it's not completely silent, you can still hear your alarm clock in the morning...but it blocks the noise out and I can sleep! I would recommend these to anyone who struggles getting to sleep and gets distracted at the noises around them. Highly recommend. I now sleep like a baby with these.

It's an ear plug - and like ANY ear plugs out there (even the foam rollers) some will work better for some people and others will work better for others. I happen to hate the foam ones - they just don't seem to work in my ears. These seem to work perfectly for 'me' - and as a result this brand is so much cheaper than the name brands that I buy these in bulk without worrying about losing them, throwing them away or keeping spares laying around. I use them for shooting, mowing, flying, and other high noise tasks.
Again, works great for me, may or may not work great for you. It's not a fault of the design, it's that every single human being is different, so if they don't work for you, don't blame the product, just realize you are "special"! :)
