I purchased this as a gift for a family member who is a tea lover. This tea storage chest (I went with the black one) is very well made, and has very high quality hinges, as compared to some other tea chests currently on the market. The windowed top is a feature that allows for the display of the various flavored teas, which was exactly what I was looking for in a tea chest. I will be purchasing another one in a different color for myself, now that I know this is of such quality.

I have a lot of boxes of tea on my counter-top and I hate disorganization. This box takes this issue away. It is elegant, well sized (not too small and not too large) and fits different types of tea bags. Some tea bags are larger than other, but this is not the problem and the lid still closes. I love the golden leaf on the corner of the box- it's a nice touch. Without it the box would be too plain. The black color lets you focus on the various colors of tea bags wrappings. Overall, this is the best box you can buy on Amazon without paying too much. Looks great and very useful for cutting down on the clutter and presenting the tea choices to the guests.

I ordered this box after looking at several options. I liked that it was a sturdy wood box with a clear glass top. I ordered it in walnut and am very happy with it. The color shown in the item photos is quite accurate. I have several different brands of tea bags stored in this box (Tazo, Mighty Leaf, and Bigelow) and they all fit. The box comes with 4 small rubber dot "feet" that can be adhered to the bottom of the box to prevent scratching, which I immediately installed to protect both the box and my countertops. The box came wrapped in a protective sleeve, inside a box. Because Amazon packed the product box inside a shipping box, it was well protected and arrived in perfect condition. I'm very happy because now my tea bags are nicely organized and I don't have to dig through a bowl full of bags to find the one I want. Definitely recommend if you have lots of tea bags in need of organizing!
