Not the best vest I've ever used

Kept me afloat while snorkeling. Not the best vest I've ever used, but definitely does the job. The only complaint I have is that it didn't really stay in place like some of the others I've been offered on different snorkel trips I've taken. It seemed to keep wanting to ride up around my neck to the point that I had to really tighten down the straps. It's possible I was doing something wrong, but either way, it did what I needed it to do in the end and I felt way more comfortable with this than what was being provided on our trip in Belize, so in the end, I was glad to have it.

This is the perfect inflatable vest to take when boating inflatables, keep mines attached with a carabiner to side of life line. I'm a 220 pound guy, if lower crotch strap is well adjusted for upper part of vest to remain touching both shoulders will provide excellent neck & face up flotation. Inflate and deflate as recommended.
Once deflated to store it neatly as factory delivered, push and hold air valve down to mouth vacuum remaining air leftover. Canvas material although not that heavy duty is sufficiently thick to last long if well taken care. Rinse vest with fresh water after salt water use. Vest colors are very brilliant, a person wearing them while floating will not go unnoticed by any.
An excellent affordable vest for many water applications, highly recommended.

Used these for my pre-teen kids while snorkeling on our cruise. They aren't very good swimmers but managed to snorkel for hours using these vests. Prior to going I was nervous about them going snorkeling, but once I saw how well these worked I was able to relax and enjoy the snorkeling myself. I wouldn't use it as a life vest, but they were perfect for giving some buoyancy and allowed the kids to snorkel without getting tired.

I bought this life jacket as an addition to my snorkeling gear for a Cozumel trip. It was my first time snorkeling ever, so I was a bit nervous, although I am a good swimmer. When we got started, I was glad that I brought my own gear with me instead of wearing the rental gear. I had practiced inflating and knew that my vest would hold air. When we started on the first excursion, we were swimming against current and I ended up getting very winded, so I inflated my vest for a little while until I could get my breathing regulated and get my mask back on and situated. After that, I never needed to inflate it, but I was glad to know that it worked well for those situations. This is definitely a high quality vest, and was very similar to the ones they rented out, but I liked that I had a different (pretty) color!
