Its been over 3 months and I feel like I can now write a detailed review. I have short, straight lashes that I basically bend with an eyelash curler vs actually curl. I presume they are thick because I generally don't need volume mascara. One eye is generally good, the other i struggle with having gaps in two different locations, depending on my lash cycle.

Now onto the product. I saw some improvement after a month but I started using the product at that point in the cycle where lashes had gaps and I couldn't be sure if it was normal new growth or from the product. By the second month I was obsessed with my lashes! Seriously, they were so long and full and I had to start using different mascara because what used to work for my short straight lashes just wasn't working now. They would get clumpy and idk, I get now why one mascara doesn't fit All!

There are some drawbacks.
-The first month, I had drastically darkened skin around my eyes. The entire eyelid up to my brow bone was discolored and my under eyes were as well, to the point I had to use concealer daily which normally was not necessary. I do have darker eyes naturally but this was significant enough someone commented. The coloring returned to normal after a while. Maybe 1-2 months.
- at some point after the product really started to work, i experienced mild itching on the lashline. Most concerning was the skin around my eyes started to feel extremely delicate. It was my eyelids and large area underneath my eyes. I don't know how to explain it but any time I had to touch my eyes at all it felt like I was doing some microscopic tears to the skin. It was just, really thin and I almost stopped using the product because I wasn't sure if I was causing wrinkles and damage. I decided to start using an eye cream with vitamin c. I don't know much about skin care, but I avoided anything with anti-aging/pm because I think the chemical they use (retinol?) Can make your skin more susceptible to sun damage, didn't seem like a good mix with my current problem. Anyway, this totally solved the issue and my skin went back to feeling normal after a short time.
- last, maybe least, it made hair grow where I did not want. I have hair basically from the tips or my eyebrows all the way around my eye and above my cheekbones. I suspect it is because I would apply the product right before bed, and that I use an oil moisturizer and also use oil to remove eye makeup. The hair has probably always been there but it made it long and dark! I have stopped using the product right before bed and try to use it at least an hour before. I don't use it anymore after removing eye makeup unless I decide to remove the eye makeup with something other than oil. I don't use mascara every day, so it's not really a problem and I am at the point where I only need to use the product to maintain.

Overall, I still highly recommend this product. If you find this review helpful please check the box cause idk if it's worth writing these long reviews on a heavily reviewed product.

The girl that does my lash extensions recommended this as a good product to use between lash extensions. The second day of using are the photos of my eyes. I OD'ed on Benadryl (tablets) then went to bed. When I woke up the following morning I could not open my eyes. They were completely swelled shut and my lashes were glued together with the eye discharge. My husband had to put baby oil on a cotton pad and swab them for me to get them open. I'd highly suggest you use extreme caution if you chose to try this product. (See photos attached)

Be careful with this product! My eyes turned red and puffy in the morning. I tried it two more times to make sure my eyes are red from this serum, and every morning they looked even worse. So i stopped and gave it to my sister to try. She had the same expirience. We applied it following instructions, and we don't have sensitive eyes. So i surprised that it worked with out any side effects for so many people (based on the reviews). Very sad, i hoped it will help me to grow longer lashes...

I apply once per day after washing my face (usually at night), and I started to see results within the first month. By 6 weeks, I was floored. My lashes look longer than when I actually had extensions, and I'm starting to see fullness develop as well. I couldn't be more impressed with how easy and effective this is, especially for the price. If you buy this, definitely take photos on Day 1 and along the way - I am so glad I did so I could actually track the results.

The only minor downside I would say is that sometimes my eyes feel a little itchy in the morning, but I do a drop of visine in each and it goes away quickly. There is no redness or major irritation, so I think this is a small annoyance to deal with compared to how effective this product is.
