Good vacuum sealer, but review it's features before buying

This vacuum sealer works very well so far. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't have a pause feature, but if I'd examined it more carefully before buying I would have noticed that, so not really the products fault.

Trying to eat healthier means lots of frozen veggies for me, so they don't go bad and I'm not running to the store a couple times a week. But the problem with freezing is freezer burn... Not anymore. I love this thing. Buy my frozen veggies at costco then I vacuum seal them into manageable portions, they stay fresh with no freezer burn till I need them. Fits on top of my microwave when not in use. There is a bit of a learning curve with it because it seems to have a sweet spot, if you don't get the bag in the exact right position it doesn't work. Which is why I give it 4 stars, not 5. I do seem to be getting better at it. Be aware it is super loud; I'm sure my neighbors wonder what the heck I'm up to when I'm using it. But that's not really a problem for me, it's not like you're using it all day every day.

Product did not work out of the box. It did not reliably seal. When it did seal, it would not pull a vacuum, leaving way too much air in the bag. One bag takes a long time to make.

Seems to work well. I have only used a couple of times but so far so good. I had another brand which died right after the warranty expired. This one has a 5 year warranty so I have hopes of using it for a long time.
