You get what you pay for. about half of the seeds have sprouted and are doing well whereas some never took. I dont know how long they were shelfed and will give them more time but all things considered they were a good price so I dont really have any room to complain.

If you're looking for something to get started over the winter, try these. All of them germed (though I didn't try the fennel because I'll put that in the ground). I used the 10/$10 sterilite trays from the Walmart home section and some dried out old nasty potting soil from a few years ago that I stopped using because it was bad quality. Everything looks great after only a couple of weeks and I look forward to not having to buy herbs this year.

I am not a gardener. But I planted each of these herbs. The basils are the hardiest here and growing great. Cilantro isn't a good season but was worth a shot. Making so much pesto this summer

LIKE: I liked all the varieties of herbs. The labeling was clear, which was helpful during planting them. Just planted these 2 weeks ago and they're already popping. Definitely need to keep them moist the first 2 weeks - help them grow up strong.
DISLIKE: My only dislike would be the amount seeds. Please considering add more in each package.
