I decided to clean all my jewelry and put the cleaned pieces in new re-sealable bags with fresh anti-tarnish strips. I purchased these Mayflower Pro Size Polishing and Cleaning Cloth (set of 2) and another brand of cleaning cloths for the project. The Mayflower Cloths proved to be perfect for the job! Here are reasons why I was impressed with the Cloths.
First, the seller contacted me about my purchase and gave me very helpful tips for using and caring for the Cloths.
Second, I like the size of the Cloths. It took only one of these large sized Cloths to clean my jewelry and and the Cloth still has room for more cleaning! The Cloths are bigger than my hand, are easy to hold, and fold up as needed to clean and polish different sizes of jewelry.
Third, the price was reasonable for 2 Cloths. These Cloths will last me years and many cleanings.
Fourth, the Cloths are two ply. I used the white layer for initially cleaning the jewelry and then followed up with the grey layer to polish the jewelry.
Fifth, the Cloths are treated with whatever most polishing cloths are treated with. Whatever the treatment is, it effectively cleaned and polished my jewelry without leaving any residue.
Sixth, the Cloths worked great! I could see the tarnish being removed by the Cloths. All my jewelry, including gold, silver, brass, copper, stones, beads, and pearls, is now clean and shiny. The Cloths removed fingerprints, perspiration, water stains, soap residue, perfume, dirt, tarnish, and everything else that dulls jewelry. After using the Cloths, my jewelry looks brand new!
