I had both shoulder and elbow surgery and have tried more than a half dozen slings. This one is my favorite. I have graduated to using it without the body strap and also I keep the wrist lower than the elbow. It's super comfortable and adjustable, and the U-shaped cut out makes it way more comfortable in terms of heat retention (and also, as a female, it doesn't smoosh me as much as other two-strap slings). I'm going on two months of using this one now and it's wearing out but for the price that's pretty great. I don't think anyone was anticipating continuous use for so long.

After having my bicep reattached the sling from the hospital was just awful. Saw this and figured why not give it a try. SO GLAD I DID!. For the next twelve weeks it worked as a champ. Very easy to put on and take off. Saved my neck from all the strain. Even slept with the arm strap so I would not move my arm while sleeping. Best purchase I've made this year hands down!

This thing is heaven. When I got out of the ER they didn't have a sling in my size so my shoulder wasn't properly immobilized and was painful. Next day I got a proper sized regular sling, better but it still wasn't preventing my shoulder from moving and my muscles would be very tense around the area, again painful.
Now this this works so much better, I'm using it in conjunction with a shoulder compression sleeve. The arm part of this device seemed like it wouldn't do the job when I first put it on. (Difficult to put on by yourself FYI but possible) then the magic happened when I put the strap around my torso. Shoulder feels safe and is much less painful!

Bought this item following rotator cuff surgery. Required shoulder immobilization and not an expensive big name sling with a pillow. Bought all different types and this one works perfectly. It's well made and uses material that doesn't make you sweat as almost all the other "Universal" styles do. My only issue is the straps are narrow and after crossing in back they rub as theycome around your ribs and also over the shoulders. I took the strap pads from a very expensive high priced sling and slipped the straps through the pads and now this thing is very comfortable. Deduct one star for not providing padded straps. Have to wear this 24/7 for six weeks so comfort and ease of use with no one to help me getting it on and off make this a winner. Functional and inexpensive! Amazing!
