Convenient, simple, functional

I really like this product. It's a simple concept and is well executed. It makes the cold being of kava ultra convenient. It comes with one maker ball, but I would suggest you buy at least one more for added strength of the brew. I've read other reviews where some had issues with leaks, but I've not lost one drop from mine.

I use the AluBall in another container. I dropped the Aluball container and it broke immediately. Cheap plastic, but the AluBall works great for my kava in another container...Arrived on time, if the plastic was more durable, i would purchase another one. I dropped it form a talbe height, and it broke into three pieces, the bottom fell out of it.

This makes it so easy to make kava on the go. I honestly rarely use the traditional method or the blender method at this point because cleanup is a dream and you can quickly get a good dose. Rather than shaking up and down. I just shake it side-to-side like you would see a bartender do with a mixer. And it works fantastically. The shaker bottle leaves a little bit to be desired but overall it's a fantastic product

The bottle itself sucks, it leaks sometimes. They should've just use the same design as the protein shaker bottles, those things don't leak and they are easier to clean. The bottle is TOO BIG! If you have small hands you're going to be uncomfortable, the bottle needs to be skinny. The ball is good, the mesh is very thin and only allows water to pass through. The ball is very small though so the max you can do is 1.5 TBS or exactly half of the ball size, add any more than that and it'll clog and water won't pass through.
Overall: Very easy to clean and much more convenient than the traditional method of preparing kava. Minus 1 star for the following: price a little too high, leaky bottle, ball a little too small, no indication that the bottle is BPA FREE (probably isn't). Otherwise a must have for kava fans.
Pro-tip: Do not use hot or warm water, either to clean or drink out of. Hot water will warp and damage the plastic, and the plastic will end up cracking. My Aluball went past its life expectancy (over 9 months) actually lasted longer than my strainer bag which ripped, only wash with cold water. Use a toothbrush to clean the tiny crevices. Never fill more than half or it'll clog. Use a protein shaker bottle instead, the one provided might leak. Add nut milk, it'll make the kava much stronger.

Works but sprays / leaks when shaking

Works but sprays all over the place when shaking. Both the main lid and the top spout are closed as tight as can be, and it leaks quite a bit when shaking. Major flaw since all you are doing is shaking. Unless I have a defective one, but I don't see any cracks or anything.
