These are a great all around work glove. Reasonably strong and more comfortable and tactile than heavier gloves eg leather construction gloves. But they are surprisingly strong and durable nevertheless. And at $2 a pair, you've got gloves for a long time!
They're obviously not waterproof but the palms are and I've found that if they get a little wet, it's no problem, so even using a hose in cold weather, it's really worth wearing these just to stay warm. Likewise you could wear them while washing a car.

After about 6 months of looking in stores and trying on gloves over my wrist brace I finally found some that fit. The store only had the Large size in stock but they're still elastic enough to fit over a brace or maybe even a cast.
