Our crawl space floaded. Once we cleaned and dried it we hung these up on the ceiling. The mildwe odor was STRONG. Bought the 6 pack and hung them roughly in a square around the crawl space. 1 in each corner and 2 near center of room. They have gromit lined holes in the top lining which makes hanging with rope very convenient.
After the first 48 hrs I was very disappointed when I could still smell mildew as soon as I walked in my house. I was willing to wait another 48 hrs. ..again still smelled it although it was noticeably less. Just when I was preparing to return them, I noticed that my house had no odor. This was around the 10 day point. Ultimately, they work...just be patient. I deduct a star as I feel that it should be stated in advertising it could take 10 days+ to work. I also should mention that during this whole time I was running a dehumidifier 24/7 and emptying it as needed.
